Litchi Ly Friedrich
I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Berlin. A lot of my work focuses on migration, the diasporic experiences and how this relates to colonialism, class and hierarchies of power. A lot of my work is performative. As a member of the Ballroom community, I try to relate it to my own experiences and that of my peers within a predominantly migrant-queer space. On the other end, a constant ‘experimentation’ within my work is how to share academic text and create more access, through recordings and performing or even making music with academic material.
